There has been a wee cock-up with the reports so far
because when I was handed the round one score sheet between
Martin Mitchell and Alan Tate I was given these two sheets.
Alan's score sheet.
and Martin's score sheet.
You will see that Alan has the neatest writing and he has
filled in who won. The result.
So I take Alan's and use that not knowing of course that
Alan had put down the names in reverse order and he infact lost.
Hence the screw up in the scoreboard.
I'll have it all sorted by the next Corner, hopefully posted tonight.
This is Alan's bike chained up outside the Edinburgh Chess Club.
So I said to Alan: "What colour is your bike?"
So I think we have identified a problem.
Let us not waste a Corner. Here is a game that was sent in.
Apparently Fritz was showing 12+ for Black at one stage and lost.

Right I'm off to the Edinburgh Club to get more games from the FIDE event.
I must remember that White is Black and 1-0 means a Black win
and 0-1 means a White win and ½-½ means both players won.
(That picture of Alan Tate, zoom it out a bit...Ed)
(Let us see the rest of the picture that YOU took...Ed)
